General Policies

For inquiries related to events or full house rentals, please contact us by phone or via the form on our contact page. 

We operate individual suite rentals from November 1st until April 30th each year. Please inquire if you are looking for other dates. We have a two-night minimum rental period.

Breakfast

Breakfast is not included with our suite or full house rentals. There is an option to add-on if desired.

Amenities

Each room is equipped with a mini fridge and heat/air conditioning unit. The house has wifi access.

Payment options: Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Cheque, Cash

Payment option must be provided at time of booking in order to hold the room. Charge per room will be processed at time of arrival. Rooms are priced and advertised exclusive of applicable sales taxes and MAT tourism tax. 

Identification

Compass Rose Suites reserves the right to ask for identifying information upon arrival. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 28 days will incur the full cost of the room.

Children

Compass Rose is able to accommodate children ages 12 and up for suite rentals. Please contact us prior to booking if you have children under that age. This does not apply to full-house rentals.

Pets

In respect of guests who have pet allergies we operate a no pet policy in the main house. Service animals are welcome, but please let us know in advance of your stay if you are planning on bringing a service animal.

Smoking

All rooms and gardens are non-smoking. Guests may smoke in designated areas on the property.

Inclusivity and Accessibility

Compass Rose is queer-owned, Rainbow Registered, and does not discriminate based on sex, gender, age, sexual preference, national or ethnic origin. Any guests not abiding by this will be asked to leave without refund. 

We are working towards being as accessible as possible. The Sirocco and Mistral suites are on the main floor. There is a small step up to enter the building. Some of our grounds are gravel and/or grass and are not currently wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay easier.

COVID-19

We are taking every precaution against COVID-19 including sanitizing common surfaces, encouraging masking in public spaces and following all public health guidelines.
